The inquiry form helps us to make sure that our services align with your needs. We want to ensure the most beneficial working relationship for both parties. It’s crucial in any working relationship to have a good fit so we both win! You will receive an email with a link to schedule your discovery call.

Discovery Call

WHAT HAPPENS ON THE CALL?

Our discovery call generally lasts about 30 minutes. We'll go over your business, your pain points, and your needs! We do this so that we can send you a perfectly curated proposal to move forward and work together to resolve those pain points.

The Proposal

YOUR CUSTOMIZED PROPOSAL

If we both decide we’d like to move forward with a proposal, we’ll need view-only access to your current cloud accounting software as well as some other documents. Once we see where your books are at currently, we’ll send over a proposal outlining the services we will provide and your unique quote.

Engagement Letter

REVIEW THE TERMS!

Review and sign our engagement letter. The engagement letter outlines the services will be provided and details of our respective responsibilities.

Payment

MAKE YOUR FIRST PAYMENT

Before we begin you will either need to make a 50% deposit or pay the full fee. This will depend on the services you attain.

Onboarding

WELCOME TO MBS!

We will request several documents related to your business, and access to all your banking/credit card accounts. We will set-up/reorganize your QBO file, and onboard you to our client portal system, which we will use to securely share any sensitive documents.

HOW DOES VIRTUAL ACCOUNTING SERVICES WORK?

We perform the bookkeeping on QuickBooks Online and Xero. Depending on the package that you choose, we perform the bookkeeping services daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually.

Where are you located?

We are based in Staten Island, NY, but work clients nationwide.

i don't fee comfortable sharing financial data - how can i trust you?

We only access banks, credit cards, and other personal financial information through bank-level secure systems that are two-factor authenticated. We also recommend you add us as additional users on your account, rather than sharing your own user details as an extra level of protection. Any other docs we share through our secure client portal.

what accounting tool do you work with?

QuickBooks Online and Xero

How much does MBS Cost?

MBS charges a flat monthly fee based on your needs and requirements.

When are my fees due?

If you are a monthly recurring client, payment auto debited on the 1st of every month/quarter. If you have a special clean-up/catch-up project, a 50% deposit is due to begin work and the remaining balance is paid one week before the work is completed.

WILL YOU WORK WITH MY TAX ACCOUNTANT FOR FILING TAXES?

Yes we will! We strive to get your books tax ready.

Do you offer bill pay services?

Yes, bill pay is one of the many services MBS offers.

Do you handle sales tax?

Yes, we will help you track the sales taxes you collect so you’re prepared to file and report at the correct times. We will also file your sales tax return.

Do you offer payroll services?

Yes, MBS can set you up with a cloud payroll system that connects with your accounting software. We’ll ensure the details from each pay run are accounted for in your financial records and reconciled against your bank statement.
